- Cut aways - to break up interviews and to illustrate what they are talking about / to avoid jump cuts when the questions are edited out.
- All of the interviewees where sat down to keep them still.
- Cut aways are either :-
- archive material
- suggested by something said in the interview and they are filmed after the interview
- soemtimes aspects of the interviewee are filmed with another camera such as extreme close - up of features used as cut aways.
